- the Map Energy iOS app

3. Data we collect
a) Account & authentication data
When you sign in, we may collect:
- Apple Sign-In identifier
- Session tokens required to keep you signed in
We do not receive your Apple ID email address unless you explicitly allow it.
b) Energy service connections (optional)
If you connect external services, we may store:
Tesla Energy
- Tesla energy site ID
- Energy configuration data (battery, inverter, export settings)
- Encrypted OAuth tokens (stored securely on our servers)
We cannot access your Tesla account password.
Octopus Energy
- API key (stored securely)
- Account number
- Tariff and meter identifiers
c) Device & app data
We may collect:
- App-generated device identifier
- Push notification tokens
- App usage required to deliver features
d) Automation & configuration data
If you enable automations, we may store:
- Automation rules you create
