Automations
Create powerful rules that respond to schedules, battery levels, EV charging, smart tariff events, electricity prices, solar conditions and more.
Powerwall Diagnostic Data
Unlock additional diagnostic information from compatible Tesla Powerwall systems after completing the required diagnostic connection.
MAP Energy Web Portal
Access your MAP Energy system through the web portal, giving you another way to view live energy, tariffs, recent history and automation activity. Adjust Backup Reserve, Operation Mode and Energy Exports in the portal; create and edit automations, and pause or resume supported rules. Manage connections and smart charging setup in the mobile app. Set up and use the Web Portal.
Energy Manager
Premium will include access to the upcoming MAP Energy Energy Manager, designed to intelligently plan and optimise how your connected energy system operates.
MAP Energy continues to evolve. Premium gives access to the advanced features available today as well as eligible Premium functionality introduced in future releases.
Premium Automations
Automations are one of the core benefits of MAP Energy Premium.
Instead of manually changing your Powerwall settings as your energy situation changes, MAP Energy can monitor supported events and perform your configured actions automatically.
Depending on your connected services, automations can respond to events such as EV charging, battery state of charge, schedules, electricity prices, solar conditions and supported smart tariff events.
Actions can include Powerwall controls, notifications and sending structured events to a connected Home Assistant instance.
Powerwall Diagnostic Data
Premium users can access MAP Energy's supported Powerwall diagnostic features.
Diagnostic data provides additional information beyond the standard Tesla cloud data available to MAP Energy.
Because this information comes from the Powerwall's diagnostic interface, an additional pairing process may be required before the feature can be used.
Depending on your Powerwall, you may need to be at home and connected to the same local network as the Powerwall when completing the initial diagnostic connection.
MAP Energy Web Portal
Premium also includes access to the MAP Energy web portal.
The web portal complements the iOS and Android apps and provides access to supported MAP Energy information from a web browser.
As MAP Energy develops, additional web-based functionality can be introduced alongside the mobile experience.
Energy Manager
Coming SoonEnergy Manager is an upcoming MAP Energy Premium feature being developed to take energy optimisation beyond individual rules and automations.
The aim is to allow MAP Energy to consider information about your connected energy system and build an intelligent plan for how energy should be used, stored and managed.
Energy Manager is still in development, so its final functionality may evolve before release.
Energy Manager is not yet generally available. Features, compatibility and functionality may change during development before its public release.
How do I subscribe?
Premium subscriptions are purchased from within the MAP Energy app using the store associated with your device.
Open MAP Energy on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
Open the Premium subscription option and review the plans available in your country.
Choose the subscription option that suits you and confirm the purchase through the App Store or Google Play.
The price displayed by the App Store or Google Play during purchase is the price applicable to your account and region.
Managing your subscription
MAP Energy Premium is an in-app subscription managed through the store where you purchased it.
Your subscription management, renewal and cancellation options are therefore available through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewal. Premium access normally remains available until the end of the subscription period you have already paid for.

Yes. MAP Energy Premium includes a 14-day free trial for eligible new subscriptions.
These are the UK prices. Apple and Google display the appropriate local price and currency for your store account, and pricing can vary between countries.
No. You can choose between monthly and annual Premium subscription options.
At UK pricing, twelve monthly payments would cost £47.88. The £39.99 annual subscription therefore saves £7.89 compared with paying monthly for twelve months.
Your subscription will not renew for another billing period. Premium access normally remains active until the end of your current paid subscription period.
Make sure the purchase completed successfully and that you are using the correct App Store or Google Play account. You can also use any available restore purchase option in MAP Energy. If Premium still does not appear, contact MAP Energy support.
Not yet. Energy Manager is an upcoming Premium feature and is currently in development.
