MAP Energy helps you monitor and understand connected energy systems, including Tesla Powerwall, solar generation, EV charging and future smart energy integrations.
2. Getting started
After installing the app, create or sign into your MAP Energy account. Your account is used to securely link supported energy services and manage premium access.

- Open the app
- Sign in or create an account
- Connect supported energy services
3. Tesla connection
MAP Energy can connect to Tesla Energy services to retrieve supported Powerwall and energy site data.
Tesla connection is used for supported cloud-based data. Some advanced diagnostic features may also require local Powerwall pairing.
4. Automations
Some MAP Energy features may require an active premium subscription or valid promotional access.
- Premium status is checked inside the app
- Promo codes are redeemed through Google Play
- Premium access may need the app to be restarted after purchase or redemption

7. Troubleshooting
Powerwall cannot be found
Make sure your phone is connected to the same local network as your Powerwall.
Pairing does not complete
Follow the in-app pairing instructions carefully. Some systems may require a Powerwall toggle before pairing is confirmed.
Internal tester warning on Google Play
If Google Play says you are an internal tester, leave the testing programme and reinstall the production version from Google Play.
Premium does not show immediately
Close and reopen MAP Energy after redeeming a code or purchasing premium access.
