Release notes
  • Meet Mappy: A new welcome experience and Mappy hub bring setup status, useful links and plain-language insights into what your home energy system is doing.
  • Mappy Awards: Track your progress and view achievement badges in the app.
  • Refreshed Live view: Open your supplier directly from its logo, with clearer indicators for off-grid operation and disabled grid charging.
  • EDF PowerPerks: Eligible registered EDF users can view available free-electricity events, participation information and available energy and savings summaries.
  • PowerPerks automations: Create supported automations around EDF PowerPerks events, with conditions and Powerwall actions to suit your setup.
  • Supplier tariff sync to Tesla: Keep your selected Tesla site’s utility rate plan aligned with supported supplier or custom import and export rates saved in MAP Energy. Enabling sync replaces the existing Tesla rate plan; Tesla pricing constraints apply.
  • More detailed History charts: Explore import and export readings, energy usage, rates and costs for individual chart intervals. Rebuild supported historical days to add available detail.
  • Usage-by-rate rings: See how imported energy is split between Free, Smart EV, Off-peak and Standard usage across day, week, month, billing and year views, where the relevant rate and slot data is available.
  • Historic IOG slots: Import supported Octopus data files to add historical smart charging slots to your app history.
  • Premium Web Portal: Access Live, Supplier, History and Automations from a browser using web access configured in the app.
  • Powerwall control from the portal: Change supported Backup Reserve, operating mode and export settings, and open detailed views for all five energy nodes. Backup Reserve uses the app’s 0–80%, then 100%, control.
  • Portal History and supplier rates: Retrieve history live from Tesla, explore interval rates and costs, and view usage rings, standing charges and recorded free or smart slots where available. Import stays on the left and export on the right.
  • Portal automation management: Create and edit custom automations, pause and resume supported rules, and delete rules with confirmation. The portal uses the same saved automations as the app.
  • Refinements and fixes: Improved site naming, graph colours and chart-point readings in the portal, plus historical cost allocation and EDF standing-charge retrieval.

Features depend on your connected equipment, supplier, region and Free or Premium access. Mobile availability follows each store’s rollout. See the Web Portal guide for browser setup and supported controls.
